As an operator of marine or hydropower equipment frequently subjected to high loads, extreme ambient conditions and contact with water, you know how important it is to select the right high-performance, eco-compatible lubricant for your equipment.

We have designed Klüberbio AM 12-501 especially for these taxing requirements. Klüberbio AM 12-501 meets OEM and operator expectations for lubrication of articulated tug and barge coupling systems in terms of pumpability, resistance to water washout, corrosion protection and load-carrying capacity. Furthermore, Klüberbio AM 12-501 has proven to be the preferred solution for hydropower related applications such as wicket gates, locks, spillways and dams, which typically have lubricant loss due to water flow while requiring effective wear protection.

The excellent adhesion and good water resistance of Klüberbio AM 12-501 can lower lubricant consumption. This will further reduce your operating costs and is beneficial to the environment.

Klüberbio AM 12-501 complies with the requirements for classification as an Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant (EAL) in terms of biodegradability, toxicity and bioaccumulation, as defined by the US Environmental Protection Agency for the "2013 Vessel General Permit".
